Scroll through social media, and you’ll find endless offers, from high-ticket courses to flashy masterminds, all centered around wealth-building. But almost all of them ignore two crucial truths:

These programs often follow a formula, one that was handed down from the same system they’re trying to sell. The result? A coaching culture obsessed with duplicating someone else’s script instead of recognizing the unique personality, background, and needs of each person.

I know this first-hand. Nearly 20 years ago, I was introduced to Liberty League International, a program promising financial freedom with just a “three-hour workday” and a tight-knit community of “winners.” I fell for it.
The pitch was irresistible: quick cash, community, and confidence. But as soon as I made the leap and paid for the advanced level, the cracks appeared. The so-called training was just aggressive sales tactics wrapped in hype. We were told to “go out and get them,” trained to avoid hearing “no,” and labeled failures if we didn’t make a deal.
Support? Gone.
Accountability? Non-existent.
The solution to failure? Buy even more of their products.
And sadly, that same model still thrives today, but now with slicker websites and faster digital tools. Technology has made it easier to sell dreams, and tough economic times have made people more desperate to believe them.
